King K. Rool The ruthless reptilian ruler, and commander of a sizable force of loyal lizard soldiers, K. Rool is the main threat to the peaceful lifestyle of the Kong family. K. Rool's sole desire is to become supreme ruler of Kongo Bongo Island, and plans to use the Crystal Coconut to gain this. He seems to be always hatching diabolical plans to steal the mystical coconut, and although his plans are works of evil genius, a combination of the stupidity of his troops and the resourcefulness of the apes always lead to failure.

General Klump Brimming with knowledge of tactical maneuvers, Klump should be the ideal general for K. Rool's army of Kritters. Unfortunately, despite his know-how, General Klump is extremely scatter-brained, and prone to messing things up. He tries to look tough in the face of danger, but Klump is really rather cowardly, and more often than not he'll give in rather than put up a fight when the going gets tough. One of Klump's favourite things to see is a colourful fireworks show. For a general, Klump sure is a big softy.

Krusha He's the muscliest croc on the island by a long way, but Krusha has the brain power of a newt (on a good day, that is). Despite his hulking size, Krusha has a gentle nature, and he thinks and acts like a young child. His #1 favourite TV show - Sing Along With Uncle Swampy - is a good indication of this! As K. Rool's bodyguard, Krusha is very loyal to his King, but just like Klump, he's a big softy, and would probably befriend the Kongs if K. Rool let him! Perhaps K. Rool would have more success without them both!

Kritters Hundreds of these lean, green, fighting machines serve as soldiers in K. Rool's Lair. Fitter than Klump, smarter than Krusha, armoured, and equipped with guns known as 'Klap-Blasters', large groups of Kritters can be a fearsome sight. As the only armed members of K. Rools army, these scaly-skinned soldiers hold fire-arms loaded with the most dangerous amunition imaginable... Klaptraps! Although powerful, Klap-Blasters prove to be very difficult to aim. Could it be that their 'ammo' has a mind of its own?

Klaptraps These little lizards are just like piranhas - they will eat anything and everything they can get their teeth around! It's no wonder they get so hungry, Klaptraps are stored inside weapons known as 'Klap-Blasters', and only get to eat when they are shot out at an edible target! Their voracious hunger makes Klaptraps very effective as amunition, but they also have minds of their own, and usually discuss their upcoming meal with fellow Klaptraps. Brings a whole new meaning to the term 'live ammo', doesn't it?

Junior Not all Klaptraps are little, and Junior the Giant Klaptrap is living proof! While the other Klaptraps are small enough to fit through the barrel of a Klap-Blaster, Junior would way too big for that. Junior shares the hunger of his smaller buddies, but in a twist of fate, he relies on dentures to eat! What makes things worse is that K. Rool has been known to confiscate them if Junior does anything wrong. Imagine... a Klaptrap with no teeth! This results in poor Junior whining and complaining a lot. What rotten luck!
